New look adverts ?

I just visited a site where there was a 728x90 advert at the top of the page. It was one advert (weight loss) for the whole unit. (poss CPM advert)

There wasn't any arrows to other adverts, but there was an "I" in a circle, in the bottom right corner. When the mouse hovers over the "I" it expands to say "Ads by Google"

At the bottom of the site, there is another 728x90 advert. This time it has a number of adverts showing, along with the arrows and "Ads by Google" (not hidden).

Is this new, or just for CPM adverts ?

They emailed us about this couple of weeks ago. Also on their blog me thinks. Let me see if I can dig out the email or URL.

Yea, it's only for image ads as of now and is already visible on my websites as well :)

Did increase my CTR to a certain extent!

I cannot see how an alteration of a logo can alter your CTR. It's not as if you get paid any money when someone clicks on it.

More than likely there were other reasons why your CTR increased.
