How do I find out if I have been banned?

I found today that I cannot log on to my adsense account, the page merely refreshes when I click the logon button with no error message. Also none of my Google ads are now showing. I have received no message from Google about this.

I spent a lot of time yesterday blocking 'competitive' URLs; they weren't competitive really but they were producing ads which were not relevant to my site. I also opted out of showing ads supplied by their new partners.

There are two points I would be really grateful to have advice on: firstly, how do I find out whether or not my account has been closed, and secondly is it possible to contact anyone at Google about it? I have not, to the best of my knowledge, done anything which is against their TOS.

I sometimes get an issue where you click login and see a blank screen, you have to hit refresh a few times to get it to log on properly.

The point of most concern is that none of your Google ads are showing.

I would clear out your competitive filter, restore the other settings to their previous state and see if the ads return.

If they don't return in 12 hours then contact Google.

Love to, but to do that I need to logon, and I can't.

Check your spam filter for any emails. Try logging in with a different browser, or from a different computer.

Check your gmail account as well.

Thanks to you all for the suggestions but I've tried every one of them without success. Am I right in saying that there should be an error message if I tried to login to a banned account?

Also try clearing your cookies & browser cache then try logging in again.

No, because there isn't any error. At least not in google's eyes.

Fortunately I can't speak from personal experience. However, I've read enough "I've been banned and didn't do anything wrong so what should I do now" threads to make me puke. A common theme in all of them is:

1) Ads not showing
2) Can't login
3) Vague email citing National Security issues.

You're seeing 2 of the 3.

Might be time to start looking for alternate revenue sources.
