Show more ads arrows look different

Looks like Google may be experimenting with these

I noticed this evening that the little used to display more ads seem to be changing. Every now and then they'll be highlighted, in my case to match my Title colour. Has anyone else noticed this? The come and go, but I can't help wonder if the reduced CTR occurs when they are showing.

Yes arrows do not appear always, but it could also be because the number of ads that are assigned is reduced (if your site is small)

Not quite what I meant. I know sometimes the arrows aren't there.

When they are there, sometimes they appear highlighted now for a period of time - sometimes they don't. Tried it on different browsers and got the same affect. Suddenly it all goes back to normal though with the more subdued arrows.

Anyone else seeing this?

same here m0thman, more ads arrows highlighted in title colour and now left/right instead of up/down

I haven't viewed any changes as of yet. Since the use of "arrows" began in the ad blocks, I've often wondered if simple text saying "show more/other/etc. ads" would offer better results. Or has this already been tested? Two of the three people I asked today about the "arrows" thought it had something to do with viewing pages on a site. (I know, not a huge sample.)
