Just because you have activated it, you still have to wait for "pay day" like everyone else.

Firstly, you have to have at least $100 USD in the account to be paid.
Secondly, you have to make sure your payments are not on hold.
Thirdly, check your "View payment history" page.

Click the "View payment history" link just underneath "Today's Earnings" on your Adsense Reports page.

If you have a payment issued this month, you need to wait till the 25th of next month before you can ask for reissue of cheque.

If payment has been issued last month , then you can assume cheque is lost in post and ask Google to issue a new cheque.

and next time ask for 'secure cheque' and pay the small fees associated with it.

You should have gotten a check for $1000+ a while back. That's odd you had to had to make $1000 before they sent you that first check. Coninue to contact Google and show them the details of your first payment.

Th second check you should get in early Sepetmber.
