I was just browsing a site, and there was a slideshow that I was viewing. I got to #8 in the list, and instead of an image, Google adverts appeared.

I went to look at the code on the site, and there was nothing in there, so I guess it was done server side. By the time I had flipped back to the page, the advert had gone and the next image appeared.

To me, that is drawing attention to the adverts.

If Google allows it to premium publishers, it's their prerogative.

How do you know Google allows it ?
Have you seen the TOS for premium publishers ? Cos I sure ain't.

There is also the adsense for flash that would let you do these things easily (never read that part of the ToS myself).
