I am going to have to open new accounts (Adsense and Adwords) for a domain the company I work for has owned for 5 years, and will explain as to the reason why.

We own an estabilished domain name that our CEO has just sold intrest in to a group of investors. Since it is now owned by us and an investment firm we need to move all revenue streams to new accounts.

The domain name will be moved within the same register in a new account under a new company name with the current address remaining the same. We own 55% and the investors own 45%.

New company name, New Banking account, New Whois information, new Ip address on a new server, and a new email address under new company domain name.

I feel pretty sure I will be able to open the accounts under the new company name and email address, but with the domain address remaining the same and the same IP address I work in the google interface remaining the same I wonder if this may be an issue.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

For Adwords, put both accounts under a single MCC; then you do not need to worry about the IP issue. For Adsense, you need to be a bit more careful.

I recommend that you email Adsense at the time of account opening to inform them of the reason.

Is there a reason why you can't close the old account?

If you apply with the same URL, you might have trouble getting approved because we'll think it's a duplicate account.

AdSenseAdvisor I can't close the old account as I have about 50 other domains under the master account. I am not sure how to locate what domain name was used to set the account up under? AA I have looked and don't see this anywere. Would it be best to call and see what or how best to go about setting up a new account and the reason why.
