Of course, there was never any guarantee that the money would arrive before the end of the month, same as all months.

Although I must admit that I have come to be fairly confident that the adsense will screech in sometime late on the 30th.
Had I known it wouldn't, I probably would have delayed the change for a month.

It's just that over the years, so many programmes around, I've come to the conclusion that a "wait and see" approach is often the safest.

Missed a few things, left AdSense alone and watched for four days before applying when it first started for us great unwashed masses.

The plusses have exceeded the minuses though.

Well, I thought about waiting, for a good 10 minutes.
Then I figured it was going to bug me to change every time I logged in, and it said I would have to opt in eventually, and I had been asking for it for ages... it seemed easier to just get it over with, having no specific issue I was waiting on resolution.
Most of the time I am a give-it-time-for-other-people-to-find-the-bugs kind of girl :)

Mind you, an explicit note of 'by the way - we won't pay you in the month you opt in' would have been nice :(

Yeahbut, why the need for change? I am quite happy with US$ reports and and would be more than happy for them to remain that way. Some people will no doubt prefer AUD$ so the option to change is warranted I am sure, but I am not happy with an enforced change. Particularly following the enforced common login which reduced security.

ASA, could you please enquire as to why the need for mandatory change and perhaps raise the issue of AUD$ accounts being optional rather than obligatory?

I'm in the same predicament. I was due to be paid at the end of this month but I converted to my local currency and now in the earnings section I'm seeing "Earnings carried over from previous months" in dollars and no payment in progress just the box telling me how adsense payments work.

I'm not a happy bunny :(

as there was NO information or notice regarding 1 month delays in payments for the MAY payment, then i expect / hope, that google realises this (if this in fact the case) to issue the payments in good faith anyway.

Yes lets hope so. There was no notice or info to say that I wouldn't be paid if I converted, I've been logging in every day expecting to see PIP :(

if they didnt, then surely the payment boffins would expect soem kind a questioning about not paying 1 months payment to probaly 1,000's of people expecting some $$ this month

I have consulted my global payments expert and here is what I've learned:

Your unpaid USD earnings from May will be issued to you at the end of June, provided you have exceeded the threshold amount. Any monthly earnings accrued during June will be finalised in your local currency and posted to your payment history page in the first week of July as per usual.

For those of you who are eligible to migrate to local currency reports but haven't yet, please note that this won't affect the timing of your payments. If you migrate your account today, your June earnings will be converted to your local currency between July 12th and 15th, and if you've exceeded the payment threshold, you'll be issued a payment for those earnings at the end of July.

It was confusing, because the change from USD to AUD happened after the 15th, so we all assumed that note meant next month, as obviously we have all missed the 12-15th this month.
I guess that means the money will come through this month!

Just one more question ASA? What is the deadline date when all Aussies will be "FORCED" to change from US to AUD dollars automatically... as I am one Aussie who has NOT clicked the go button as yet...

When I changed from USD to EUR I was paid as usual - on time. So as ASA quoted changing currencies *shouldn’t* affect payments.
