AdSense 'Since last payment' total dropping down - bug?

Hi All,

This is seen by many people, so that's not a statistical fluctuation, rather some kind of bug on Google side.

For the last few days people are observing (and reporting on Google forums) that their totals since the last payments went down. For example - yesterday morning it was over $200, now it is about half that, about $100.

Interestingly, totals for May and June seem to be still correct (or at least they don't show unexpected drop). At the moment my May total is larger than my 'since last payment'.

Let's hope it will be solved on Monday.

I've noticed this also. My "since last payment" figure is showing about 77% of the true figure.

Been hearing a lot about this. Seems like a bug to me.

Most likely they are just testing their "dollar-to-euro" code which is kicking in soon for more EU-publishers.

Dermblue, good observation. Supports what Alephh suggest; that the "dollar-to-eruo" conversion is kicking in too soon. Only problem is that if anything I'm "euro-to-dollar".

Yesterday, the earnings since last payment dropped dramatically. A few hours later it showed the correct amount. Now it has again dropped significantly.

Glad to know that it is more likely a bug. So long as the payment is for the correct amount.

Doesn't work for me, unless USD:EUR is 2.2. More like 1.4 as far as I know.

We've updated the AdSense Known Issues page [google.com]:

"June 22, 2009: The amount displayed when you generate a 'Since last payment' report is currently incorrect, but our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Please be assured that this is only a display issue, and that you're being properly credited for your earnings.

Work-around: In the meantime, you can still calculate how much you've generated since your last payment. Generate an Advanced Report for your earnings from the current month and then add the total unpaid balance listed on your Payment History page. Thanks for your patience as we work to resolve this issue."

Is there really an "earnings from all products" option in the Advanced Reports' "Choose Product" dropdown that mimics the front page's summation of products? Or do you have to run the advanced report once for each product?

(Maybe that's the reason when you have accidentally left the "all time" option on the front page it brings the system to it's knees with all of the publishers clicking on it. Maybe a "for all products" option in the advanced reports would be loved.)

RonS, I'm happy to pass along that feature request. I've heard it before, but the sense I've gotten is that it's not one of the most common requests we hear.

I would love to see the "for all products" report option in the product drop down, too. Of course I also told this to my account rep.
