Well this critter thinks that twitter, facebook, etc. are a waste of time, energy, space and whatever else someone might think of.

Well, just my two cents, as far as twitter, facebook, etc. I use it mainly as a tool to get my sites out there. I feel this is the reason for the increase in traffic. Every little bit helps.

On FaceBook, I've been able to reconnect with an elementary school friend I have not seen in over 40 years! I've also found some cousins and family I had not seen in 30 years, so it's really been pretty cool!

The AdSense Twitter account is definitely used by the AdSense team. It's meant to provide quick bite-sized news and updates. We see it as another way to communicate with our publishers, but definitely not the only way. So for those of you who prefer not to use Twitter, we still work hard on keeping our blog and Help Center and forum updated and fresh. But for those of you who find Twitter useful and want to get our tweets ... feel free to follow us!

Oh the answer was (sorry guys (and gals) - I thought everybody already knew!)

But anyways the answer that was given from Adsense's Twitter account was that there were a lot of bank holidays that caused the delay - now I'm not saying that I understand that but that was the reason that they gave!

Any modern organisation at the top of their game and with a first class system in place would take that into account.

I will not hold my breath though.

If they "do screw up" then we know Google have finally handed the reins over to the same brain dead bean counters who brought us "Wall Street" circa 2008.
