Google ASA, please pass on this feedback to your check dispatch team.
The solution is just to send it folded as before.
Why do you need to send such a big sized package?
What value do you get from showing the amount?
Please stop this practice henceforth.
Why do you need to send such a big sized package?
What kind of package is it? Obviously not a window envelope!
It is a big window envelope, probably 12" x 9" with a BIG window displaying your *AdSense account number*, *check amount*, date and all other details you could think of.
Google payment document is printed with my delivery address on the left hand side meant for an envelope with transparent window also on left hand side to expose only the address in the closed envelope.
Unfortunately, the envelope used for this document has transparent window on the right-hand-side resulting in exposing quite a few payment details from the document including even the payment amount, pretty clearly.
Delivery guy seems to have torn left side of the envelope near transparent window in his effort to expose my address which was otherwise hidden.
One of the possible reason of using a right hand side transparent window envelope could be that the Bluedart tracking number sticker with the barcode is affixed right on document on right hand side of the address which actually should be on the envelope.
I am sure Google Hyderabad guys would be careful next time around.
I guess Google doesn't have to agree to its own TOS :)
> .so if you dont "tip" the delivery guy ..he may get even ..or tell all your neighbours ..who may be jealous ..and know enough about adsense to get you "booted" just by going to your sites and spending a day or so clicking everywhere ..Their IP's are going to look close enough to yours that Google are ..going to wonder if your family havent been told to help you out ..
That's a good and scary worst case scenario.
I am more worried about the delivery guy tipping some thieves or thugs who comes looking for some quick cash.
ASA, please address this issue. At least let us know you are looking into it so it is addressed from the next payment onwards.
BTW the blue dart fellow apparently could not find the address - I tracked the courier with the tracking number and had to call to ask for a delivery.
This is really very bad service! I would not mind paying google a $50 to get the cheque delivered properly.
