Positive reports about AdSense performance

How is it performing for you?

There have been a number of threads/posts here recently where people have reported disappointing stats in one form or another. Some threads have even gone so far as speculating on the demise of AdSense or Google.

If you look at a graph of my stats for 2009, it may look a bit like a rollercoaster ride, but overall, I have nothing to complain about.

I have noticed some board "regulars" absent from the pessimistic threads. I'm just wondering how it's going for others?

And please, if you only have gripes or complaints about AdSense, there are plenty of other recent threads where you can post or there is always room for a new thread. I'd appreciate if this thread were kept relatively "gripe-free."

My AdSense revenues are at an all time high. I've identified pages that perform poorly with AdSense and have replaced with other ads or removed ads from the page altogether. Diversification has helped reduce ad blindness, smart pricing, and laziness.

On the flip side, I've been paying very careful attention on the AdWords content network side to carve out poor performing sites, countries, languages, creatives, keywords, and categories to drive more desirable, higher quality traffic, to my sites.

I love this thread... I've had to work much harder to maintain AdSense revenue in the past few months, but overall revenue is pretty stable. When compared to other sectors of the economy, it's doing great.

Had a scary moment a few months back when I was going for job interviews. As luck would have it I was out of luck which is probably a good thing. I decided to hang on, keep publishing and some direct advertising has helped me through that bleak spot a few months ago. So all in all, perhaps I'm quietly optimistic at the moment.

I dread to post in this thread, because I'm probably going to jinx myself!

But the last 2 weeks things have been looking "encouraging" to say the least.

Maybe we've hit the bottom of the downturn?
