I have this problem too. No check and no tracking number.

I checked the Google Help Forum and it seems there's a huge number of non-payment issues during this cycle. People from India, Israel, UK, and the Philippines are having the same payment issues. I hope ASA can help shed light on this. Requesting for a reissue of the check will cause a one-month delay that would be difficult to swallow for many publishers, especially those who have staff salaries to pay.

Is this the norm that people just don't get a check. Im still waiting on the DHL tracking number and I am not in India.

Here is the problem, Google answers slowly and when they feel like and with painfully swallowing information.

I can assure you that checks are on the way globally. If you notice any delays for last month's payments, it's likely due to April bank holidays in many countries.

I'm in Serbia and I just received my check which appears to be sent by Google India. DHL envelope was in quite bad condition and even opened and resealed which never happened in last five years I receive checks. Due to decreased earnings, few days ago I switched to regular mail delivery. Does anyone know will those checks be sent through Indian mail? To my knowledge, even Indian publishers don't receive checks through regular mail.

In India, hereafter google will deliver only through a local courier instead of DHL. upto last month i recieved from Ireland through DHL.

i am waiting but not yet recived any courier.

waiting, waiting, google should do something to speed the process, they can start payment process from 15th instead of 23rd.

This time its a mess. Nothing after 6 days. Don't now which one is responsible for this - Google or BlueDart.

6th day-end India - No sign of either payment delivery or courier tracking info for me.

Does anyone know what is account number of Google India with Blue Dart Hyderabad? People who have received last month or before that via blue dart.... might be able to locate it on the package or talking to Blue Dart. Since Google is not providing any tracking number for this months consignment yet, nor does blue dart help in searching without tracking or reference number, the account number of Google with Blue Dart might help in tracking.

I think its a global delay, I am in Hyderabad where the Google Hyd office is located so I should get via bluedart first, will post ASAP if I get the check.

Yes, I think Google is delaying payments thus increasing their credit period from 30 days to 45 days. So payments might come only after 15th every month. That could be one reason why they mentioned in their mail that we can see the tracking numbers of Blue Dart by 15th in our account logins. Maybe ASA can throw some light on this, if there is a change in payment cycle.

Thanks cedd for your thoughts, if indeed they have increased the cycle to 15th of every month, it would have been better of google if they would have let us know prior to this payment cycle (I have always use Secured delivery till date), coz I am sure many of us rely on google payments to pay our other dues!

Luckily some of my other payments got cleared this week otherwise I would have been in hot waters due to the payment delay!

How about a trip to their office.. It may clarify the situation as we will certainly get no response from G, on email on this subject.

The problem is not from Blue Dart. The problem is that now the checks for a lot of countries will be processed from Google Hyderabad instead of Google Ireland or Singapore. That is what is causing the delay. Someone from Georgia received his check today which he normally receives before 2nd of any month. He has posted saying that his check came from Google Hyderabad instead of Ireland from where he usually got his checks. So the blame for this delay should go to the sloppy work of Google Hyderabad. Its a new thing for them to process payments for so many countries and maybe they are not able to handle it. So, dont blame BlueDart alone. They can deliver the check only when they get it from Google Hyd. Even deliveries to other countries by DHL has been delayed due to the delay from Google Hyd.

Why has Google shifted the check processing to India from Ireland or Singapore? Due to cost reasons. Recession affects everyone including the big G!

I got mine (in Spain) yesterday from India delivered by DHL (a week later than every month).

Isn't Obama going to frown at that. Oh.. but he is only worried abt. Bangalore not Hyderabad.. so we are safe.

May 7th in India, and no check. Local Indian courier companies sometimes send the mail back if they dont find you on their first try at the address. So have to stay home till it comes - thats a pain. So far I knew when to expect DHL guys.
