has anyone noticed that the formating for the 336x280 ad block keeps on changing? i don't mean something that I have done myself -- i mean the formating inside the actual ad.

it used to be that there was about 10 pixels of padding on the left, but now it's sometimes showing with no padding at all. and then it will change back again the next time you look.

for people who set the ad flush with their text, it's pull your hair out time seeing it chop and change around every five minutes.

Haven't noticed that but I have a 336x280 set to arial font and it keeps changing to times new roman even though I have arial set as the account default as well.

They are trying to prevent placing images next to individual ads. The padding is randomly changing, so publishers can't align images to ads.

it's only about 10 pixels of left padding that is disappearing. any images next to the ads would still be aligned alright.

it's when your page has the text flush with the side of the ad (vertically), that it looks all skew-whiffy

AFAIK it also has a random padding on top.
