Deleting channels

will my earnings drop?

I have a bunch of channels that I want to delete to restructure things.

If I delete some channels that have associated ad blocks on my sites, will those blocks start showing PSA or will my earnings not be applied to my account?

Or can I safely delete the channels?

Are these channels that advertisers can target?

I'm not worried about losing some advertisers that are targeting my sites through those channels.

Right now, I'm just trying to determine what happens when a channel is deleted yet the ad blocks for that channel exist on a site.

Is it even posible to delete a channel?

My understanding is you can rename it or deactivate it, but you cannot delete the ID # associated with it.

What happens if I deactivate a channel while having active ad blocks showing ads?

Channels cannot be deleted and according to Adsense help...

While channels can be used to track performance and revenue, they will not have any effect on your earnings or ad targeting
