Logged into adsense and saw a red box with an explanation mark in it, thought I was in trouble! turns out its a notification to warn us of engineering work taking place over the weekend.

Good idea, but could the background be changed to yellow? Don't know about other people but I associate red backgrounds with "bad stuff"

Notifications in your account. Where it should be. I think it's a big leap forward. And one of the things we've been asking for (you can drop my optimization reports however (the last one was on November 2007 and I don't count them as 'recent' anymore :))).

I agree - I like the notification box, very nice and very helpful when you log in. You sure can't miss it, thanks Google.
