Why does Adsense show clicks but no earnings?

Is there a specific reason why you would receive clicks but not earnings for those clicks?

Thanks.

You want a 'specific reason' regarding Adsense?! I seem to remember asking this same question myself a little while ago. There was some speculation but the simple truth is that I will never know for sure.

On occasions I've seen multiple clicks for 1c so maybe one click isn't enough to pay 1c, hence nothing. Alternatively, Google - for whatever reason - deems the click(s) to be invalid, hence nothing.

All we can do is speculate.

Also, I don't think all the stats update at the same time - sometimes the clicks come through but the impressions lag, and vice versa. Might be the same with the earnings as well.

The niches are higher paying, but I guess it is possible. Maybe it just needs to update. I usually only check last 24 hours reports and will notice this sometimes. I'll give it more time or start checking older stats (like weekly) Thanks for the help.

Usually it's for CPM ads.

Ahhah, now that makes sense.

Actually, I think CPM ads would show earnings but no clicks, not the other way around.

Are we talking a lot of clicks here?
Could be that some visitors have been double clicking or weaving backwards and forwards from you to advertiser > back to you again

so a double click is not counted? I would have no idea of knowing, but I guess it could happen

I've always experience also. Clicks with no earnings.
