As far as figuring out a pattern as to when we get a payment in progress, I have found that once you start to find a pattern then Adsense does something to break it! According to another blog the "PIP" line was on the 23rd for a similar month - so hey maybe the pattern is working for once - besides, once someone starts reporting the first "PIP" sighting the others start to follow so it can't be too much longer a wait.....
We should catch a break from the way Google calculates the exchange rate, which seems to be an average rate from the week previous to payment.
But they never pay me until the last couple of days of the month, so a week before is... now! :(
Can't wait until they introduce the local-currency thing down here! I hate this arbitrage.
Google says paid on the 26th (never saw the PIP) but I haven't checked the bank yet - very early payment for me.
If it hadn't coincided with a weekend it would have been money in the bank. Incredibly in this day and age Witchbank doesn't process overseas transactions over weekends.
AUD 1.408 : 1 which is 71 cents. :(
I hate having to worry about the exchange rates (It was down to 63 earlier this month)
I can remember years ago when it was around 52c and rarely varied much. Oh well we learn to live with it. Could be worse, in the late 1970's it hovered at $1.18 but I was an importer back then.

Ooh! Butter days!
I am hoping that Adsense having introduced a Euro option means they will eventually offer an AUD option - they already have a company presence here, after all.
Its not that I mind having lost 16% of my adsense income due to fluctuation - I do, but thats not the point, and indeed it goes the other way some months - but my advertisers are principally .au, so it just seems so foolish to recalculate money twice...
