In another example of my talent for impeccable timing, after paying for a yearly renewal of Google Custom Search, I took the advice of a Google optimization rep and tried out the free ad-supported search.
The free search used to be markedly inferior but is now virtually identical and pays off handily. It's not enough to compensate for the fallen eCPM but it helps.
But what a difference!
About the same revenues,
but this time, I needed 58% more page impressions for this result.
My eCPM from December 28th multiplied with my page impressions from March 24th would have been an impressive new all time record in daily earnings.
I thought in December eCPM is disasterouse low.......
