Where to place google ads? 2 strips on one page ok?

Hi, I've used only one google block on our page (left top side). However Google is recommending adding more blocks on one page.

I've used the google heat map to place one google ad strip. Is it advisable to add more strips to one page to get more earnings? I'm thinking of adding a strip to the bottom of the content of a page in all pages of my site.

Every site is different, but I've found that placing adsense "top left" and "top center" works best on my site. I tried some at the bottom with very little success. Best thing to do is place them where you think they might work and leave them there for a while and see how they perform. Make sure you create channels so you can see which ads are performing best for you and then go from there. Try different configurations until you have it optimized just right.
