We decided to take advantage of Google's offer to integrate Analytics with Adsense. However, it's free only up to 5 million pageviews per month. What happens after 5 million pageviews (we have way more than that...)?
We do not use Adwords, and we do not want to create an account just for this.
Has anybody without Adwords gone over 5m pageviews /month with analytics? have you been charged on your Adsense account?

Well it would be interesting to know, coz we also serve way more than 5 million page views / month.

I had put up analytics code on my site but it was just for a week.

Answering my own question, in case it helps someone:
After 3 weeks, and 10M+ p/w, the analytics limit has not been reached, and they have not stopped showing data in analytics account yet.

Looks like their limit is a soft limit then?
Can anyone say if ever Google caps in Analytics on crossing the limit?

I use AdWords, so it hasn't been an issue, but even if I didn't I would start up an account and spend $5 or $10 a month, just to have the unlimited Analytics pageviews. No sense being penny wise and pound foolish, as my Grandma used to say.
