TOS and instruct people to install customized search

Installing customized search wie my Adsense in MSIE

MSIE 7 has top right this search field.

It is possible to ad more vendors for search.

I just added my customized search,
all my own sites and Wikipedia to the list of search vendors.

Now I think it would be nice to promote this.

But is this within TOS to instruct how a visitor can install
my customized search in his MSIE?

without knowing the full story it is hard to give an acurate answer. Have you developed a search service and devised a way to add your search tool into the search options within ie7. if so them MS won't have any issue. The issue you may have is where your adsense ads are shown. If you want to display ads on results pages you may need to let the adsense team know exactly what you are doing. Having your search box enabled in IE won't be the issue, showing ads on serps may be. If in doubt contact adsense support.
