Pick your own fonts!

You asked for it, you got it.

More ad control in general, and choosing your own font in particular, is something you've been asking for [webmasterworld.com].

Well, check out the AdSense Blog, where we just announced that you can now choose the font for your ad units. You can find specific instructions on the blog post, but we're encouraging publishers to use channels to test the performance of different fonts on your sites.

Or you can just choose your favorite font [en.wikipedia.org]. :)

Potentialgeek - I swapped my font across the board to match my site and have seen maybe 15% increase in earnings over the last week.

Things have been random for me this year and I've been struggling to control any back to back tests. So I went for what seemed prettier.

Also last week was the lowest earning week for me for several years. But the plummet does seem to have been averted for a few days which may or may not be statistically significant.

Just to add my agreement to those saying that these fonts are too small. Even the standard adsense font is too small on my site, and these are worse.

We could do with more fonts and larger ones.

The font choice does not apply to link units.

So what works better, Arial or Verdana? I will have to do a split test.

So what works better, Arial or Verdana?

Neither if the adverts are off topic, which is rather often lately :(
