Who cars about PIP? The only event that really matters is money in the bank.

PIP is totally different to payment in your hand.

If history is an indicator, PIP will be next week.

I really do think that the 17th of the month is too early! However one very good sign is that if you look at your payment history and see that "You are scheduled to be sent a payment......" then you know that the payment in progress process has begun.

The average expecting date is usually around the 25th of the month (and judging by one blog's account - it seems that ironically during February's the shortest month period - the "PIP" sighting is usually later in the month.

2004 - 22nd
2005 - 22nd
2006 - 24th
2007 - 26th
2008 - 26th

I wonder if the system processes payments in alpha order by account name, by country, etc? I think it would be interesting to know how that works.

It seems that the Adsense "powers that be" haven't told us the specifics of their payment process except to say that they don't process the check payments first. According to them checks and EFT's are treated equally.

Personally I think its by location - ie who will get their payments the latest will usually get processed first - but I'm not 100% sure of that.

It should also be noted that Mslina... has posted in the past that they get their adsense payment by check and they are in the US-Northeast - (same area as me!)

According to past posts KnoppeR receives their adsense payment by check and they are located in India.

I'm in Australia and payment issued sometimes appears after money is in the bank.

PIP "sometimes" appears 24 hours before that. In any event the money is usually there by the last day of the month.

That message popped up in the last couple of hours (UK). I hadn't realised that they had rationalised the calendar!

Normally I don't worry until I get my bank statement a few days after the beginning of the month.
