Hello,

I received no tip for February 2009 for optimization. Have they stopped sending the regular monthly tip?

So do you not read the messages because you don't find the content useful...?
================================================

After months of filtering crap ads from my site, I turned off filtering, it did nothing to increase my income. I left it off for months, the lack of filtering has done nothing for my income.

Once again, Google gives goofy advice to a publisher.

What kinds of messages would you like to see in that inbox?
=======================================

I would like to see a notice that tells me I can now control the minimum amount that an ad has to pay to be on my site.

Google - the April the 1st joke is getting a little old now... 2 years old.

@ ASA: The messages are above the fold - to access my reports I have to scroll.

Without the messages - I wouldn't - I visit adsense a couple of times a day - the scrolling is inefficient.

That fact that the last message is from April 1st 2007 - is a bad joke that has lasted 2 years.

Please;

1) move messages to the bottom of the screen
2) show nothing when I mark the message as read.

Simple solution - 20mins of a developers time...

IMO:
- enable deleting "tip"-messages
- enable disabling (=delete) the message system (at least if it's only used for "tips")
- move it below fold or to another page (in some distant galaxy)
- way too basic tips (more you optimize, more the methods used vary == impossible to give solid work-for-all tips to experienced users)

And, if this "showing only two years old messages and not being able to get rid of them" is such a great feature, why don't gmail use that too? ;-D

Yeah I think you should send those optimization messages to newbies, under a year with the program.

The rest of know what the dillio is. Were all going, "yeah, so what I already know that".

Can you delete them from the seasoned peoples boxes?

Thanks for asking. Here are few samples:
1. We really love you and increased your revenue share by 10%
2. We have finally assigned you an AdSense rep who will actually try to solve your problems
3. We have finally assigned you an AdSense rep who have more useful ideas than - experiment, experiment & experiment
4. We have finally assigned you an AdSense rep who actually responds.
5. We are here to support you, if we find there are any issues with any Google product, we will work with you to resolve it instead of handing down judgement without option of jury or re-trial, heck even a hearing
