Presidents Day Weekend 2009 Friday Feb. 14 - Monday Feb. 16th.

So we had Valentines day on Saturday, however Monday the 16th is a holiday. Not only that but in some states schools let the children out for the entire week, resulting in many families taking advantage to go skiing and getting away in other ways.

This weekend has been pretty slow for me and it's not the AdSense stats being stuck. It's actual traffic drying up for the holiday in the US.

All things AdSense and website traffic are doing fine for me, which is normal for holidays on my site.

Yesterday was the best earnings day day of the month so far.

This idea of holidays being a downer is pretty much related to the topic or niche of a site I guess.

Slow stats are just that, slow stats, nothing else.

Other than badly delayed reporting on Saturday, All stats are in the normal range for me this weekend.

My traffic and earnings have been down since saturday, friday was normal, I expect monday will be down too. Hope to back to normal again by tuesday...

It's looking like a normal weekend despite all of Saturday's troubles on top of it being a 3-day weekend.

Looks like a normal weekend for me, too, except that Valentine's Day had the highest CPM of February. (And no, my site doesn't feature last-minute deliveries of chocolate and flowers, or the lives of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln!)

I hate holidays!

Why? Because I'm experiencing the worst eCPM I have ever seen in the past 3 days. It's running about half of what it was for the same time period last year.

I hope it starts to improve by Tuesday.

I've got a large, diverse site. Traffic was down about 25% all day on Saturday, 10% Sunday and 5% today. Not sure how to explain it other than the holidays.

Up - wayyyy up. ECPM has almost doubled and earnings are at record levels. Some cahnges in the rankings have increased our traffic so that is also helping. Not sure shy our ECPM has almost doubled.
