So one of my new sites has over 600 referral visitors/day but Google adsense shows 50 page views/day and 3 clicks and $0.00

This has happened to my fairly new forum as well.

So basically two of my fairly new websites shows fewer Adsense Page impressions than my actual number of visitors considering that all my pages have adsense! What could be the cause?

Please help. Im now worried somethings happened to my Adsense account!

Impressions (adsense reports) might and certainly will differ compared to your website stats. Some users won't let the ads show, perhaps blocked by them, software or corporate security software. So it will count the visit but would never show the ad.

Also, check if you have YOUR adsense code inserted on the website. There are stories of malicious webmasters inserting their own.

Depends on how you're measuring visitors and if those visitors are real or bots. The number of rogue bots hitting your site can reach near-DDOS levels, enough to slow your site down, even take it down completely, if you don't have robust hosting.

Regardless of impression data matching, why am I getting clicks worth $0.00.

This has been happening for the past few days. It had happened for my new forum and so I removed the ads until I figure out a solution. I had 10 clicks total earning was still 0.

you might just be getting some ads which pay by impression, rather than click.

you'll probably get a rogue 10 cents turn up in our stats one day without a corresponding click, and that will be your payment.

if you're using a lot of image ads on your forum then you'll probably get loads more of them.

Google automatically devalues some clicks as not valuable to the advertiser and pays you 0 for them.

(If you have significant numbers of 0 clicks, you might be concerned for your future with the Adsense program :( )

You need to take your AdSense off everything till you figure it out. For whatever reason, Google doesn't think those are valid clicks. Since Google is all about detecting patterns, if you leave it up, you will probably risk losing your account.

Then you need to start looking seriously at your log files. If you don't know how to do that, find someone who does.

Hello guys, thank you all for the support and comments. I just received an email from Google. Apparently I forgot to add my two new sites to the "Allowed List". It wasn't anything serious...I feel much better now. :)

Just an FYI for everyone else facing the same problem. [google.com...]
