Hi all I have a spanish written site about "widgets". I was planning to open another site about "widgets" with the same approach, but in English. Will I get in trouble with Adsense or is it ok?

No, no problem. Just respect Adsense TOS (this topic has been addressed before with great advice and info you might find useful). Remember, don't translate... make someone native in that language write the articles. The translation is very obvious (specially in style) and it will affect the traffic of your site. Just my two cents.
