How to track adsense?

Some time ago there ware scripts that tracked
adsense click, i search for them today and most
are outdated and said that wont work anymore.
Why is that?
Is there a way to track adsense from my server?

Yeah, just add a onclick event to the iframe with source googlesyndicate.com. Have the called function load a 1x1 image with the page url and referrer. Maybe the source has changed to doubleclick which might be why older scripts don;t work.

Better yet, try the new google analystics/adsense tracking which offers much more info.
