I don't know if there is any coorelation or not and I don't know if this is somemthing we would ever know for sure. But I'm observing some things on some of my pages that indicate the name of a channel may influence the ads that appear if there is a close relationship.

As a rough analogy, on some pages within a site about widgets I'd like to see ads about red widgets more often although blue widgets seemed to dominate. I changed the channel name to "red widgets" and I always seem to see red widgets ads on those pages when I visit now.
