Adsense font size 18px - is this new?

Today I spotted a 336 adsense block with two ads using 18px font size with a font weight of bold.

I have never seen ads using text sizes this big - is this something new? A test or glitch perhaps?

One thing is for sure, CTR would sky rocket using ads formatted this way. On the downside it did look really out of place on the page.

I've just noticed this today. I have Not noticed increased CTR but it looks dreadful.

I saw one lone ad in a 120x600 skyscraper. Font was huge, looked like Times.
