This is the first time I've ever seen this many blanked units. It's almost like all display ads have been turned to blank as the top ads on the pages are still working fine.

My eCPM has been pitiful since Jan. 1 but I'm not seeing blank ads or PSA's. My CTR is basically unchanged, has your CTR dropped as well?

Nothing untowards what I can see in the UK, I have no idea how they're looking elsewhere, it's nearly an impossible task to ascertain that.

pagead2.googlesyndication.com is timing out on and off
and so are pages with Google ads
Too many alternate ads are being displayed now
Pages without ads loading fine

I noticed slow ad serving yesterday which really really hurt my sites as the site content did not load. Also a lot of mis-targeting. But I did _not_ see any blank spots (keeping fingers crossed).

You can use css and div to load content first followed by ads.

I'm not seeing an unusual number of blank spots, but I am seeing some poor targeting and some REALLY BAD geo-targeting.

Adsense for search is today paying out in pennies rather than dollars.

I did see a few PSA adverts but on someone elses site. An established site and an established page.

I never see any consistency in these revenue EPCs since one never knows what the visitor is searching for. FWIW this month my lowest Search EPC has been USD 0.03 and highest USD 0.62, not much of a spread eh? :-)

True, but over a period you would know what an average day would be.

Let's say that my average would be 10c - Today would be a 10-20th of that, and in some cases zero. Very weird day.

Highest unemployment numbers since AdSense started, economy in the tank, consumers not spending....I mean how can advertising be high?
