Get ready for the new round of "fat" ads

But this time they're for teeth whitening

I just found one, and I'm sure the number will grow. This one began just as the "fat" ads do...with a woman's name. We may have another fight on our hands if this one goes out of control too.

Lately I have not noticed any "fat" ads, so I'm pretty sure Google got rid of them.

I did see another "fat" ad that was coming in via doubleclick as an image ad. That made me change all my ads to text only. It was only a couple of days ago too so beware.

The metropolitan newspaper where I live has "fight fat" text ads (not from AdSense) integrated into its weather reports.

In today's economy, it may not be realistic to be snootier-than-thou about ads for weight loss, teeth whitening, etc.

Actually diets are very popular just after the holidays so you may not want to block them just yet.

I don't mind the fat ads either. They seem to generate a fair revenue.
