You should thank the advertisers. They are pumping the money into your pockets. Google is merely the middle man that is creaming off its bit ;)

Google negotiates better ad rates with bigger advertisers than I would, much worth the convenience of Google's expertise.

Advertiser pumping money into my pockets from the profits earned from the business I send their way... The advertisers have no allegiance... they would scurry-off to where ever they can find the most eyeballs and buyers for their products...

Yet Google would remain a loyal business partner through thick or thin.
