Adsense and Proxy Servers

Can clicks from proxy servers cause Google to disable my adsense account?

Please I need some help around here.

I have noticed that some of my site's visitors use anonymous IP address/proxy servers to access my site and in the process click ads. I was wondering if there is any way Google uses to monitor such clicks from proxies which could cause my adsense account to be disabled?

This has been giving me some cause to worry!

While I don't bother with such facts, I also don't worry about "improbables".

Why worry about something you can't prevent? If your CTR is through the roof that might be some cause for concern.

What do you mean? Besides, is CTR all that important? Hey i am new to this adsense thing so please don't find me too curious and ignorant.

If you detect a proxy server you should block access.

Google has ability to detect each and every user clicks on ad. So do not worry about facts. Most account get disabled because
a) They click or ask someone to click
b) Wrong ad placement
c) Less content more ad with popups
d) MFA

Everything with Google is about patterns. If they detect patterns of unusual activity, that will send up a red flag. If you get occasional visits/clicks from behind proxy servers, that probably isn't a big deal. But if a significant amount of your traffic consistently is coming from these proxies, and clicking, at some point Google will probably take notice.
