I'm in the middle of updating some of my site designs* and I've got a space next to the logo at the top of the site for a 468x60 ad (similar to this forum).

I'm wondering has anyone had success with ads in this space?

I know I should test, but I thought I'd ask here first, because I've got a feeling they'd suffer from ad blindness.

*due to the fact I've just seen my site on a 1280x800 resolution ad it weren't looking too good!
