Discrepancies between Analytics and Adsense

I was very excited to see the integration of Analytics and Adsense. However, I've been noticing more and more discrepancies between what they report.

I am using one of my sites as a reference and on that site, pretty much every page has cookies from both programs. So they should report identical numbers for impressions and click values, no?

The amounts showing up in Analytics and AdSense are sometimes different! I think, normally it's Analytics that "loses" clicks. I also see .01 difference in click values fairly often - perhaps the rounding off algorithm is different?

Has anybody come across this?

Maybe some people are blocking analytics?

Probably rubbish... but

When I signed on to Analytics quite some time back my CTR went back to hell.

Rubbish like I said...

An addendum:

I consequently removed Analytics from all sites and CTR then improved...

Marginally

As a conspiracy theorist, Analytics gives too much detailed information [directly or indirectly] to Advertisers about your sites.

Yes, I'll be well and truly trashed for this comment.
