There are 2 AdLinks and 2 big rectangel ad blocks on the page.
The ad blocks show complete irrelevant ads about hair growth and partner search.
The 2 * 4 AdLinks are good targeted to the content of the page.
The consequence, nearly the AdLinks alone bring the revenues of this site.
The have also a good EPC. That's what I do not understand.
When the ads shown in the AdLink have a good EPC, why can there be irrelevant ads in the normal ad blocks?
are the adlink units at the top of the html source code? google usually tries to put the best ads for your page at the top, and the least relevant at the bottom.
All pages are defined the same way
content
120x90 adlink (navigation top left just under the logo)
300x250 ad (navigation left just under the navigation links)
336x280 ad (just below the content, left part)
200x90 adlink (just below the content, right part)
context description (keywords related to the page)
navigation links
All my sites use DIV position absolute,
so I can do this.
Both AdLinks are filled with 4 links very good related to the content of the page.
All ad positions are watched by ad channels.
The November results
AdLinks 65% of clicks 60% of earnings
Ads 35% of clicks 40% of earnings
This is about the whole subdomain, some pages have also good ads in the big blocks, but many pages show in the big blocks only irrelevant ads.
