my website is a small portal which has many keywords. It leads adsense to show very different ads on my site, from financial, health, pesticidal, religion, diet, and even chemical products. I'd like to kick out some low-revenue ads (some clicks earn as low as US$0.03), but how do you decide which ads should be kicked out?

You might be able to figure something out if you set up channels for each keyword or group of keywords.

That won't tell you what ads are low-paying, but it might give you some clues as to which keywords are low-paying.

Then you have to ask yourself, "Do I want to shut down this section of my site because it's only earning a few cents per click, on average, or would I rather have the earnings?"

Keep in mind too that you can only block by advertiser, and an advertiser might be paying a few cents in some campaigns, and much more in others.

Block advertisers you don't like, or don't want your visitors to see. Don't try to block by earnings.

Well said purplecape "Block advertisers you don't like, or don't want your visitors to see. Don't try to block by earnings".

100% spot on target. The best advice I have ever seen on this site. If you do that you will be looking after your viewer's intrests. In the long term you will be the winner.

You have to look at the site and say to yourself.

Is this person paying?

If you think no, they probably are not.

It depends how good a guesser you are.

You can also filter them for a day and see if things improve. If there is no change or negative effect then return them and try another.
