You can see which ad was clicked.

There are trackers that will tell you which ad was clicked on...

" Exit Link: adsense->view ads about all logos"

Such as the data that is shown above... that is what the tracker shows me about the ad that was clicked on one of my pages.

I get this data by religious use of proper adsense channels. They work.

not to the specific ad. there lots of javascripts that can do the tracking, but only to the ad unit level. google disabled the ability to retrieve ifo about the actual ad.

But only for clicks on AdLinks and not for clicks on regular ads, right?

AdLinks still display 'views ads about widgets' in the status bar which can be further processed by tracking software, but Google disabled the status bar text for regular ads some time ago (IMHO for the exact reason that publishers can not track which ad was clicked).
