I got the dreaded email in June. It did not state why, so the accused is not aware of the charges and therefore cannot make a case with corrections back to goog.

Can some nice person on this forum look at my site and let me know what might be the problem? Also, Im new to running a website. Can someone also tell me how to get my logs for the month of May and June to send to Goog?

Thanks!

Why are you waiting till now to contact Google about it?

I contacted Google right away after it happened and they dont seem to want to reply to me with a reason for why I was suspended.

I bout the site off ebay. It was a template site which came with a year of hosting. I had it for 6 weeks then goog deactivated my account. If they think I clicked on my own adds, then let them tell me that so I can try and give them my logs to review... im very new to website maintenence that Im not even sure whatg web logs are or how to cut and paste them to give to someone...

I know that im banned for life...but you know what, im still going to give it a try on getting back in.....just need to know the crime...

Your post will probably be moderated to remove the URL because website specifics are not allowed at Webmaster World.

There are at least two documents governing AdSense terms and conditions: their AdSense T&C and their AdSense "Localized" T&C. Read both of those to determine whether your site might be in one of the categories of sites where AdSense is not allowed.

On a cPanel server, you can download your logs from Raw Log Manager, or an icon with a similar name. Plesk has the same thing, and the name might be the same.

On shared servers at some hosts, your raw logs are automatically discarded each day after the stats run is completed. To prevent them being discarded, you change a setting in cPanel (Raw Log Manager) and maybe Plesk (location unknown). Any logs that have been discarded before you enable archiving are lost for good and cannot be recovered.

I'm seeing a lot of people getting banned from Adsense because their sites offer nothing more than copied articles, from freely available sources, or worse, infringing on some poor soul's copyright.

I guess Google is doing another round of cleaning up the content network.

Thanks SteveWh!

Well..If thats the case(beig banned for copied articles), my site does have alot of article RSS feeds from open directories and the like on home remedies, cures, etc. I write my own content once a week and post it to my website, so im pretty sure there are more articles written by others(throgh RSS)than by me on the site.

But I don't think Google should rip away my livelyhood for this type of site structure. As you can see, its an innocent site with innocent information. I just wish I knew why..thats all.

Its just like the electric comany de-activating your poer account for life. They are the only game in town and now you are off the grid for life without a clue to why.

Here are a couple threads that may be helpful:

Before anything, it's a good idea to read Google's AdSense Policies [google.com] and their Terms and Conditions [google.com].

I've been Reinstated - Adsense has let me Back in
A member recounts their experience at being removed from the AdSense program, but subesequently reinstated when she proved that she was not responsible for false clicks.

There's not much we can do here to diagnose why you were banned. If you read the above posts you should get a good idea of how to proceed in getting reinstated if you feel you did not break any rules. And make sure you know the rules. ;)

Good luck.
