Can't you use a custom channel for it? URL channels aren't the only kind available. See the AdSense setup.

Custom channel is when you put the AdSense code yourself inside a webpage. But I am using Knol which automatically integrates with AdSense, so I have no code to use.

Right, and I didn't realize that you had no control of the code.

Well, if all your other pages are channelized, at least you can tell what portion of your earnings is from the Knols, but it sounds like you are out of luck to track individual ones.

Bah. You do not expect Google to give out that much information? After all, Knol is clearly not about earning money, but all about sharing valuable information. :-)

URL channel?

They may end up adding that capability down the road; when I set up my very first CSE search engine it used my AdSense code, but there was no way (yet) to specify a channel for it. Eventually they added it.

Thanks netmeg, your answer has been the most informative up till now. You understand the situation. I hope they add a way to track AdSense performance in individual Knols (as well as tracking Knol traffic, aka Analytics, but that's for another topic outa the AdSense forum).

2. click the URL channels link
3. click + Add new URL channels
