I like to ask the world about

"How long Google takes to ban an adsense account due to less activity (traffic + content etc.) on a website?"

I'm not aware of them terminating accounts due to lack of traffic or due to a few number of pages on the site.

Any page with AdSense does have to have content, so they would ban a site, probably quickly, for creating pages containing AdSense ads and hardly anything else.

[google.com...]

Section 6

Google reserves the right to terminate without notice any account that has not generated a sufficient number of valid clicks on Ads or Referral Buttons or valid impressions of Ads (in each case as measured by Google) for a period of two (2) months or more.

Ohh, that's right, I now remember being surprised by that the last time I looked at the terms. I don't remember if that clause was in effect when I started my site in 2006. AdSense did stick by me, though, during very lean times (like 1 click a month, or less).

With that in mind, it is probably good policy not to join AdSense until you have at least a couple or a few hundred unique visitors a month.

Slightly OT, but stay away from Commission Junction until you have several thousand and are pretty sure you can start making sales right away. I also joined that program too soon, just because I wanted to get familiar with how to do it, and after 6 months of no sales was automatically dumped without notice.

I have an account that was approved over 4 years ago and sat for 1 year about two years ago. A complete year of no clicks and no page impressions. So I guess it just depends what Google feels like doing.

I'd be worried about the lack of content more than the lack of traffic. Both, in combination, are not a good story.
