I'm anticipating that the next couple of days may drop considerably with the run-up to July 4th if historic metrics are anything to go by.
Quick question: Those that are noticing a decrease, did you update your sites yesterday or today? It always seems that when I add a new page that new page pays less. Just testing a theory ;)
EPC fine.
This morning I noticed a couple of summer campaigns of well-known MFAs which I sent straight into my filter list (whenever EPC goes down the drain I find a bunch of new MFAs). Needless to say, my filter is chronically full, and I'd love to block *advertisers* instead of their domains. This has been requested from Google. Let's see how this turns out (yeah, I know, nothing will happen, but there's always HOPE, isn't it?).
Monday is normally one of our best days. Today's eCPM isn't looking much better so far. I'm already considering replacing adsense with some affiliate programs.
So either Google lost many advertisers due to the recession (they tend to be on quarterly budgets), or the deal with yahoo is in effect starting this quarter.
if that's so, it hasn't happened in every sector. The last day of the 2nd quarter was a great day, and the first day of the 3rd quarter was well above average....

The advertisers in my sector do not seem to have altered plus my EPC is fine, just well below average clicks.
I have to wonder whether return visitors do not bother with the ads many times since the same ones are nearly always being shown hence why my AdLinks tend to be more used, but lower paying, than my main leaderboard even though they can scroll the ads.

WooHoo...hang the flags out...purplecape and HuskyPup in sync for the first time ever!
Seeing 67% less revenue.
ditto
eCPM is very low. I hate sudden changes
I think it may be wider spread. I usually get clicks from a few articles in a well known joint-publishing site. This site usually gets above average eCPM and EPC. Lately, it's been getting peanuts as well.
I think it's going to be a slow month for many.
going by today's stats so far, that is an understatement.
Yesterday traffic for me was surprisingly normal, the EPC good yet the CTR pathetic. It was only beaten by one of those "Google Glitch Days" when they never admit to anything ever being wrong.
Ok, it's early so far today however NOTHING seems to be updating except a few page impressions, my CTR and eCPM metrics now look like a multi-million hit forum site. I'll give it a few hours but if it isn't rectified by then it will be repaced by my ad banner campaign I have prepared.
Have they got problems or what?
