hello everybody
long time lurker but first post here.
maybe someone can tell me if my situation is common or should i just rethink my adsense philosophy.

i've started a blog 2 months and a half ago, adding good content every day i've seen my visits and ctr growing following a certain pattern: slowly increasing every week.
last week i topped at an average 200 visits a day, making an average 1 to 2 dollars a day. nothing big, but it's like feeding a pet... you like to see it growing everyday.
so i thought: 'damn, this adsense program is neat! just publish good content and the money will come'

then last saturday everything changed: CTR dropped almost to 0%... visits dropped too, but only partially, i'm still getting in between 100 and 150 visits a day.
i have to say that i didn't change anything in the blog in the last days, only last week i added am adsense block in an old website of mine that barely get 5 visits a day and is hosted in the same server... could this be the cause?
is it possible that Google is not converting my clicks for this new adblock or for whatever other reason?

or should i just get used to this kind of moodswings in the users clicks?

Thanks for anyone who can shed a bit of light on this.

That's mostly true, but it does take time.

Traffic is what will make the difference for the most part, at least in the beginning. And it takes time to get good quality traffic.

So keep on writing and publishing good quality content while you build traffic. Be patient, it could take a year or more to get to a decent high quality traffic count.

Building traffic is a whole other topic.

thank you ken_b,
i'm probably too presumptuous in thinking i can understand adsense in 2 months time.. a year time is probably what i need.
it's just that is hard not to check the adsense statistics in a compulsive manner, expecting good news (money) every hour or so.
i'm sure you know what i mean ;)
