I know this may be pocket change to some of you 'bigger guys', but for the first time I actually broke the $10-limit in pure organic adsense revenue for a single day. It makes me feel very proud of all the hard work I put into this. My average CTR is close to 10%, so I know I am definately on the right track here.

I will consider my first goal of $10/day as achieved once I maintain it for 5 successive days. From there on, I will diligently work towards earning $25/day.

Yay!

johnnie -
Congratulations!

And keep going, that $25 day may not be as far away as you think.

Congrats

Sometimes changing ad placement and sizes can create that type of increase. Make sure you're playing about with sizes, placements, colours and earn max revenue.

Congrats!

I remember my first $10 day... keep doing what you're doing, you'll reach $25, then your next goal can be $50/day... :)

So, how'd you do it? Diligent work on daily writing?

I have made several small sites with static, home-written content. I crafted each site with a lot of work into SEO, adsense placement and adsense unit selection. I feel I can do a lot more with these sites, as the majority of income is only made by two. More work will go into promoting and optimizing the other, slightly underperforming, websites.

The main factors were constant hard work, a lot of reading /listening to podcasts and not giving up on down-days.

Congratulations on you first $10 day.

Concentrating on the under-performing sites may well be the way forward. An alternative view is to follow success and concentrate on the sites that are performing.

Great work - I know how it feels. Keep working and building. I put adsense on my then new website in December of 2006. I had my first $10 day July 4th of 2007.

I remember my first $10 adsense day - unfortunately that just made me more greedy!

Darn this adsense addiction!

I think I'm addicted too. I've noticed I have some of the symptoms... long hours on the computer, the urge to login frequently, swelling of the bank account, periods of euphoria or depression that varies with EPC...

Congrats. I think it was about 18 months ago I was there, and I'm now about 10 times that. Don't focus too much on the numbers - just make your product full of awesome and time will take care of the revenue.
