Well, I think you might have missed Hobbs' fine humour between his lines.

The "many others" part in his statement made me laugh, actually, because it can't be many publishers who saw their wishes implemented, given the loooooong lists of suggestions we made over the years, often requesting the same basic improvements over and over again. ;-)

Sorry Zett, it was not meant that way, but it is true that over the years we've almost requested every single possible feature there can be, and there are bound to be some that get fulfilled. I for one am almost certain that my fulfilled wishes were strictly requested by me.

I'd rather this thread remains a wish list Farmboy, but to give you the bottom line, most fulfilled features have been rather cosmetic and for convenience, nothing earth shattering (apart from cracking down on some MFA but I doubt that was fulfilled due to requests), as for the relentlessly repeated requests like blocking by account and larger filter, we might as well give up on those and save our breath and bandwidth, they're most certainly not going to happen and we have neither leverage nor pull to change that.

I can't be totally certain that suggestions I've made have been implemented by Google, but I do remember a thread where I observed a way Google could implement the Ad Review process.

My idea was that Google would allow publishers to send "canned" responses to site-targeting advertisers, informing them as to why their sites were blocked.

Of course -- Google may have already had this idea in place, but we will probably never know.

Let's start by asking reasons and/or status tracking of requests, just repeating the same critical ones and perhaps seeing a few very minors one honored without any view or feedback is counterproductive.

Add this: a single, clear, to the point privacy policy for adsense (and one for analytics while at it). Let us link to yours instead of twisting our hand into telling our visitor what they will get from you,not from us.

"Widget Lesbians" and "Widget Gays" links in your link units, my site has no such content or keywords, how does one opt out of such a thing?

How about a better Preview Tool that is platform agnostic? Not everyone uses Internet Explorer, and not everyone has a PC.

This is already being handled by the Privacy groups in California because it is violating Californian law.

The search engine giant is being asked to write the word "privacy" alongside other information links.

"It's a short, seven-letter word and in the world of privacy it's a very important word," said Beth Givens of Privacy Rights Clearinghouse.

Google says its policy is easy to find and it gives "accessible information".

According to McAfee, the most dangerous domains to navigate to are ".hk" ".cn" and ".info"

Of all .hk sites McAfee tested, it flagged 19.2% as dangerous or potentially dangerous to visitors; it flagged 11.8% of .cn sites and 11.7% of .info sites that way.

Armed with that info, wouldn't you think google would take a closer look at these type of domains, and also keep tabs on them.

I don't want to send my visitors to a dangerous site. I blocked one the other day that sitemeter didn't like.

We shouldn't be doing this, google should.

This will heavily reduce the load on Google server resources all month long but specially by the end and beginning of every new month, cut down on your electric bill and even save the polar bears, baby seals and the rain forest..

Fix the "Report Manager". It would be nice if it sent ALL the reports requested, on the scheduled that was selected.

I have 6 reports set to be sent once a day. Some days I get 3, some days 6, some days 4, some days.... well the number of reports actually sent is always a surprise.

It would also be nice if they were all sent as one big group each day, as it is now, some days they arrive in one group, some days 2 groups, etc.

In general, it would be nice if AdSense got one feature working the way it was intended before they released the next new feature.

Provide a way to identify landing URLs of Flash ads

I'm haunted by a Flash ad, which will not show up in the Preview Tool. Also, right-clicking on the ad will just result in the flash contextual menu, but not in the display of the URL that will be used when clicked.

I do not see how I can block this ad without clicking on the ads by myself (which I *won't* do). Of course, I could start guessing the target URL by what is mentioned in the ad, but if these guys use a tracking domain, it probably won't be filtered.

First, this does not work. I seem not be the only one plagued by Flash ads:

The tip mentioned in the post, by the way, does not work, because the target URL is scrambled, just /pagead/imgad?id= followed by a 35 character string.

Second, to keep the thread on topic, I requested this feature ("Provide a way to identify landing URLs of Flash ads") because it seems to be a serious problem. I think it to be unconvenient (at least) to have to right-click the ad somewhere close to it's edges and then hope to be able to identify the advertiser.

The only way to stop this nonsense is by turning off image ads, which I am seriously considering now.

While he might be a bit too outspoken, the inability to properly block crappy ads/advertisers is something we all fight with. If it is allowed to continue his solution might become our solution as well.

My log in for Google AdSense and Google AdSense ARE the same and have been for a very, very long time.

When I follow the wizard that asks if I am indeed me@mydomain.com I click yes that is me, it then takes me to log in again and when I do I get the same wizard.

If you read the posts in this thread there are others with exactly the same problem as well.

I'd like to the see the Option for publishers to request Advertisers in our niche to give us the oppertunity and publish ads on our pages.

That means go out and look at ads in our niche, click , and wait to for them to appear.

Again I request Better Communication:

A service where some of the people that are banned get told reasons like: You were banned because you're annoying/not very smart, you were banned because you are short sighted/lack common sense/greedy, you were banned because simply we don't like you ..

Now that should free up support time and can be considered clear & meaningful communication.
