In adsense overview, there is a list of 'recent messages'. Mine are all the same every month: 'optimization reports' advising me to use adsense search. I've disabled future messages, but: is there any way we can delete the existing ones? or do we have to live the rest of our lives viewing them in that list?

I don't think there is any way to delete them. The last one I got was Feb. 13. Have you received one since then? How do you disable future messages?

Do you think you will be displaying AdSense for the rest of your life? ;-)

We've requested for the removal of this nonsense in every features thread and they've ignored us, go figure, if they're even pretending to cater to publisher wishes they would have enabled us to fold it, but I'm no Phd.

Probably. Or at least until you stop using AdSense ;-)

I asked AdSense support a while back (I am still seeing spring 2007 messages) and they replied something along the lines of "Sorry but not possible to delete but you are welcome to ignore them"

They also said that they passed my request on to the engineering team but I suppose no one was smart enough to figure out how to remove those damn messages. Nice to know they are trying though.

Disabling them for the future is easy, but those you got you'll see till those in charge put on their ears and start to listen to what we're asking.

...if they're even pretending to cater to publisher wishes they would have enabled us to fold it...

So forget any notion that they will ever listen to us regarding any of our more radical requests.

LOL, they remind me of 'Terror Alerts'
