Here is a site that has scrolling Google Ads. The site is a small news site out of Grand Rapids, MI so I doubt they are a premium publisher. I have never seen scrolling of ads like this before.

How are they doing this? I think the ad format would not only draw attention to the ads but I would imagine the CTR would be great as well!

The ads are located on the bottom left of the page.

Can you grab ads with the adsense api and do this?

Hunh; they send lots of traffic to my event site every year. Maybe it's a premium publisher type of thing? They're a Gannett property, so it wouldn't be that unusual if they were a premium publisher.

Hi see this url of theirs.

You will understand its just javscript they are using in <Iframe> tag.
But very nice idea. Only thing is you need to verify whether you are violating TOS of adsense. I am not sure they allow this.

That's a TV station website. Just because they scroll ads on TV, that doesn't give them the right to do it with AdSense on the website. I think they are breaking the TOS big time.

They are not a premium publisher.

I see three violations of the Program Policies.

May not direct user attention to the ads via arrows or other graphical gimmicks

AdSense participants are not allowed to alter any portion of the code or change the behavior,

Elements on a page must not obscure any portion of the ads.
