Reminds me of December's payment where those outside the US were getting their PIP's and it was thought that since those out of the US took longer to actually get their payment that was why they were getting their PIP's first!
Usually when someone posts that they got their PIP payment in the US it means that my PIP will show up withing the next 24 hours.
This time someone from Greece has posted first - so I don't know WHAT that is gonna mean for us in the states!
This is my first payment so i got a quick question :)
Whats the average time for payment to be processed so I can view the currency exchange details, and also - what is the standard time for a cheque to arrive ( Im in the UK )
Cheers guys, enjoy your earnings! I'll be down the pub with mine :D
If you're getting your adsense payment by check - for me when I used to get it by check I would give it about 5 business days to actually get to me.
The "pub"! Reminds me about this show that was on my PBS station about pubs in the UK - looks like everybody was having a grand ole time!

East Coast - EFT
Now with all of my complaining I should be and I am grateful 'cause if it didn't show up today then it may have showed up tommorrow which is a Friday which meant I wouldn't get the payment until at least Monday!
BTW - how is everybody able to post those "smilies" on their posts?

....sorry, just wanted to be the first to talk about this month :)
This month, the Monday was 24th, really should have gone pip on or before Wednesday the 26th according to the past two years. The 26th has almost always been the latest.
On one occassion, when the pip was posted to our account, we had already received the money EFT. This time, there is no EFT posted to our account.
Though Adsense says publishers are due to be paid by the 30th of the month, after that being "late", when compared to the last two years(usa) it is today "later" than normal.
Added to the fact we made 40% less yesterday than an average fourth Wednesday, I find both these factors of concern.
Adsense is the second of our partners to pay late/later this month. Another, normally paying the 17th to the 20th, NEVER, EVER later, paid us this month on the 24th. Their terms say specifically we WILL be paid on the 20th of each month. Early pays were a result of the 20th falling on the weekend.
After a month of very dismal usa economic news, I REALLY hope these late/later pays are not a sign the major dot coms are about to take a huge slide. The partners are always the last to know.
Here, locally ... SIX major restaurants have closed down in the past month. In a town of less than 10,000, it is alot. Add the other three that closed down within the past year, and all the other businesses and factories that have closed, it is not hard to see how I might be getting anxious about 'late/later' dot com account receivables.
I have sub-contractors here depending on me to help them feed their families, with very little work to be found locally. It is those I worry about the most. These revenue partners I have, account for the 'extra' money I have to put locals to work in 'make work' projects.

Too late [webmasterworld.com]! :)
What do you mean, so what? All I'm pointing out is that Google was a very well-oiled machine for several years. Their Adsense Website has been very unreliable lately, eCPMs are ALL OVER THE PLACE, and now, they seem to be breaking a very long tradition of paying their earners (ie: ALL OF US) before the 27th.
I'm not saying they are violating any of their own policies YET. I'm just wondering what the heck is going on in Mountain View, CA?
And, more to the point, (since sh** flows downhill) what will this mean for us?
BTW: PIP in upstate NY.
Take that Ron.
