I just noticed while upgrading one of my adlinks code to the new ones that the landing page (with the list of advertisers) now uses the same color as the adlink itself with the keywords.

The result is often pretty awful. If you use bright or dark colors for your ad, the whole page looks terrible, it just doesn't scale well to a whole page unless you use more neutral colors, not to mention the white google logo square on top that sticks out like a sore thumb and do not blend with the rest of the page. It looks like a bad web page from some 90s geocities site.

I've searched on the adsense site to change it to the default look but no luck so far, unless I change the colors for the adlink unit itself, but now the results will be pretty yucky on my pages.

I did use a saved color palette so I'll look into choosing the colors individually instead and see if that changes back to the google default colors.

What looks good in smaller dimensions and blend well in some section of a layout doesn't always translate well for a whole page design.

If that fails, I guess I'll have to revert back to the old code and wait for version X.1, as I usually do.

I've run into this too. I'd prefer that they let you make a choice.
